I am now taking a class on Ministry to Women in the Local Church at the seminary. It is an awesome class, but unfortunately meets on Thursday nights…which means I had to miss Valentines Dinner with my awesome hubby.
But Scott and I know you don’t and shouldn’t just express your love for your honey just one day of the year…so we celebrated on Friday.
Thanks to the Daley’s offering their babysitting services, Scott and I headed out for a night on the town. When we dropped Seth off and headed to the truck, Scott wrapped his arm around me and said…”I feel like we’re dating again.”
We stopped at Starbucks and I got one of their newly named “Skinny Drinks”. Yummy. Then we went and visited the Cooks at the hospital (a family from church) and their precious newborn Andrew- who is so cute.
Then we made our way to a cool place called the Angus Barn. If you haven’t been there- you have got to check it out. Scott said he thinks it could have been the best steak he has ever had. And for our Greenville readers…we both agree it is better than Chop House. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were spectacular. I will warn you it’s a “pricey place”, but it’s worth it when you save up for a special treat!
