Ever since I woke up this morning, I have been giddy thinking we may just get to go home tomorrow!!! It is not definite, but we have a good shot!
This morning I was able to have a unique opportunity with a friend here. She was substitute teaching at a English Speaking School for Muslims. This particular class is a discussion based class, and the students pick various topics and talk about them working on their English and grammar.
My friend thought our adoption would be a great discussion topic and also one that would open the door to some great spiritual discussion. And, it did! We talked back and forth for about an hour and half, and God made a way for some super discussion. The students were so sweet to Lyla and really enjoyed having her in there. I am just stand in awe as God uses my 4 year old to plant seeds of the Gospel!
After the class, we headed home, because we had an exciting adventure awaiting us this afternoon…
We went on a tour of the Toilet Museum! I think my most favorite part of this adventure was the drive over there. My friends J and S joined us and we were all in a taxi together.
Our driver did not know exactly where he was going and every time he would pull over and ask people where the toilet museum was, everyone would burst into laughter. I think we laughed harder in the car than in the museum.
The museum was a little bit interesting, but kind of weird too. What can I say? It was a museum about toilets!
We had to part ways with J and S, because they needed to head back to Jaipur. 🙁 Hope to see them again soon.
We also headed home, and I packed all my bags for tomorrow’s hopeful trip home!
Here is my game plan for the Embassy…
We are going to get up early in the morning and head there. We will have our interview and I am going to hang out there for a while and not leave until I have the visa in hand or unless they tell me there is no way I will have it. Then I will come back home get all my stuff and maybe only have a couple of hours until it is time to depart!
Please pray that we get the visa. I am going have a tantrum myself if I can’t get it until Thursday with the holiday here on Wednesday!
Lyla has had a day of testing boundaries, but I think she is learning I am not going to back down. Love my little girl! Love all my children! Can not wait to see them!
Praying everything goes well at the embassy, and you get to go home, sweet home!
