Ever since we have known that our final court date (hopefully) was coming, I have been in total plan mode. I have been online everyday checking prices for flights, planning where my 4 other babes will go while we are gone. Thinking about lice removal kits, and emailing a wonderful guide in New Delhi that will assist us while we are there.
I have been creating some books on line to give to our sweet girl. One is a book with a poem I wrote to her. Maybe I will get brave and publish it on here. It is rather cheesy, but cheese is good, right?
The other book is a picture book, that I hope will help us communicate with each other better. It has pictures of her family, our house, but also pictures that will help while in India. Like pics of planes, cars, forks, bath tubs, and toilets…all things she has probably never seen and never used, but once we arrive she will be on a plane several times, riding in cars several times and learning to use the other items. Most Indians eat with their hands. Scott and I love to do that when we are there. It is so much fun! However, we know she will have to learn to use utensils here in the States, so we will have to start working on those skills as well, I bet. And, if you are wondering why a toilet??? Well, most Indians use what I call a squatty potty. But you will just have to google that to find more info for yourself!
