After our visit in SC, our family headed to Destin for a week. We have never been to Destin before and we really enjoyed it! The beaches were gorgeous and we got a fabulous deal on a condo. The kids had a great time too! This was the first “just our family” vacation we have had in a while. The weather was pretty good, we had a few days of rain, but it didn’t stop us from having fun!

To the beach…
The boys loved getting buried in the sand
This is pretty much what Joel did the entire time, sleep on the beach. Wish I could!
But I was too busy watching this Sand Bug…she loved the beach! This was her (and Joel’s) first time there. I wasn’t sure if she was going to like the sand or the water…But she did!
Daddy watching the boys swim. They really like the water and enjoy swimming. They made me kind of nervous, because they are overly brave and kept trying to go out deeper.
While at the beach, we discovered KP likes hot chips. That makes another child of ours that loves spicy stuff!
One night we went to Alligator Beach…it is located at a restaurant, and outside they have an area that has lots of alligators. The boys thought it was pretty cool!
You could feed the alligators with these poles, but Seth thought he was fishing for one. 🙂
