Sisters, not by blood, but by blessing. We were both blessed with the awesome opportunity of serving as Miss South Carolina. Jeanna Raney Beasley, Miss SC 2001, is more than a Miss SC sister to me…she is a dear sister in Christ.
We met in the pageant world, but have stayed in touch ever since. Even though, we have never really lived near each other, our various life experiences have drawn us even closer. We have become prayer partners.
Jeanna and her husband have an incredible story of loss, and miracles. I prayed her through several miscarriages and the pregnancy/birth of her second child, Brock. She has prayed for me through our pregnancies and adoption.
And, now she is adopting too!
So our prayer partnering continues!
While we were on vacation in SC, I got to visit with the Beasley family.
What better place for families with small children to get together…. Chick Fil A!
Holding Brock reminded me that God does hear our prayers and that He is the Great Provider!
