Scott came home with a brand new shotgun this week. This was his birthday present from his sweet Mama. 🙂
Anyways… the moment he walked in the door with it, Seth ran to his room and came back with his toy shot gun. Scott was getting me to hold the gun and look down the barrel and point the red dot at what I wanted to aim. Scott showed me how to cock it and get it ready to shoot.
Then Seth proceeded to give me a lesson on his gun. He showed me how to hold it, how to aim, and how to make it shoot. (Precious!)
Then wherever Scott went with his gun in the house, Seth followed him. (Let me go ahead and let all grandparents know the gun was not loaded and had been checked several times, and we were still very cautious)
Levi then realizes that Daddy and Seth have guns and he runs and gets a dart gun and starts pretending to aim and shoot. If Scott propped his gun against the wall, the boys propped theirs up beside it. It was very cute to watch!
Seth can also recite the two first rules of gun safety… 1-Every gun is a loaded gun and 2- Never point guns towards people
Levi had to get in on the action!
