Where do they get this stuff?

Seth and I were in the den one morning and Levi came in whining and crying. Seth looked at me with this disgusted look… pointed to Levi and said, “What is wrong with that kid?”
I was following Seth in to the bathroom one morning…He said, “Mom I could use a little privacy please.”
After Seth got his hair cut, Scott says to Seth… “Seth you are one handsome dude.” Seth says…”No I am not handsome, I am cool!”
While playing with toys in the den, Seth tells Levi…”Listen Kid, if you can’t be kind to this toy, you don’t deserve it.”
Seth comes to me with a very minor scratch on his hand…. “Mom, I need a band-aid… this is a bad injury.”
Friday mornings are Scott’s days off…I came out of my room and noticed Scott was missing. I say, “Where’s daddy?” Levi answers in his gruff little voice… “He at da office.”
I have been working with the boys on being better about cleaning up their toys. One night, I announce that it is time to clean up. Levi runs and gets his toy vacuum and goes to town vacuuming my living room. (I like what I am seeing here!)
And last but not least… boys must be born with this innate desire to laugh every time they hear someone expel gas. Now that they realize they can make themselves burp and ‘toot’ (as I like to call it in my house… we have had quite a gassy display going on in the Parkison home.
The bad part is… Daddy laughs too!
BOYS!!! 🙂
PS… Okay I confess that I sometimes laugh as well!
