A Year of Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from the Parkison Family!
2010 has been a year with ups and downs, but we are so thankful for God’s provision and faithfulness through it all!
Scott and I also are very thankful for our precious boys. They bring so much love, joy, and entertainment to our lives! We feel blessed to be their parents.

I thought I would share with you some of the funny stuff they have been saying lately…

Kelly:How are you doing this morning Seth?
Seth: I am doing precious.

Kelly: Seth you are the man!
Seth: No Mommy, I’m a wild man!
Scott: (cackles)

Seth: Mommy when I grow up, I’m gonna be a Godly man.

Kelly: Seth, it’s time for bed.
Seth: Awe mom…I don’t want to…
Kelly: Oh, yes you are.
Seth: Oh, yes I not.

Kelly: Seth what did you learn at church today?
Seth: I learned that Noah got swallowed by a big boat and Jonah was fishing.

Levi has been talking a whole lot more lately. I still have to interpret what he is saying most of the time, but he is really identifying objects well and putting phrases together… even if they sound kind of mushy. 🙂 However, one of his favorite things he says quite a bit is “I do!”

Any time I ask him a question and he wants to eat it, play it, watch it or do it…. he always answers with an enthusiastic “I do!”

One day, I was getting him out of the car and he was telling me he wanted to do something and I could not make it out. He kept saying “I wan wat moo eee.” It took me about three tries, but finally I repeated back to him slowly… You want to watch a movie? To which he replies… “I do!!!” He makes me laugh all the time!
