Lunch with some extraordinary women

Last week I got to have lunch with some extraordinary women. One of them being 84… two of them have lost their husbands in the past year… and one of them was married for 65 years.
These women are so full of joy and laughter. They had me in stitches the whole time. These women also are what I would call “Super Crafty”. Between the four of them at the table… you could have your whole house decorated, suits and dresses made, and some canned vegetables for your pantry. They do everything from hooking rugs, making cards, sewing (suits, clothing, and purses), canning, cross stitching portraits (which take a year), knitting, making drapes, and I am sure I left something out.
Here I was, this craft- deficient person basking in the presence of these multi talented women. But they are willing to teach me. 🙂 We’ll see! I told them I might not “craft” like they can, but I love to eat and we can always have lunch! 🙂
