Manchester Mondays: Manchester Arts Center (MAC)

Manchester Arts Center (MAC)

MAC is located off the “square” in Manchester. In 2008, a furniture store was purchased and renovated into a performing arts venue and a place where people can take visual arts classes as well.
Shortly after moving here, I was contacted by someone directing the Oldies Show this Fall. He had heard through some people at our church that I had some experience in dance and he needed some choreography.
Even though we had just moved here, I jumped at this chance… because I absolutely love to dance! Plus, I love oldies!
The show is in two weeks October 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Some of Trinity’s own talent will be in the show…Scott and Kitty Keen, James Cortner, and myself. 🙂
I originally was just helping with the choreography for the show, plus I am going to be gone Friday and Saturday…but they convinced me at last week’s practice to do a lyrical ballet to Unchained Melody at Sunday’s show.
So come out and support the show! I have been able to hear them rehearsing and the singing voices are amazing… not to mention the incredible live band! Don’t miss this great show, and be sure to reserve your tickets by calling the number in the above poster!
And, if you want to see an out of shape pastor’s wife dance…. come on Sunday! 🙂
