This song spoke to me this morning. And I am reminded that when you are facing hard times or difficult decisions and it feels like the waters are rising around you…the Lord does not let them consume you. His word says in Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
Sometimes obedience is hard. I remember my Mom used to say… “It’s never usually easy to do the right thing”
And most of the time she has been right. But what I have on my side, is the promise of God’s word, that when I am in His will and I am following him- He will be with me.
So let the waters rise.
