During the week of Bonnaroo, our church helps at a ministry tent to minister to the people in attendance at the music festival.
One of our members is a single mom and she volunteered to work the tent during an all night shift. She asked if I could baby sit her sweet little girl and of course I said yes.
This sweet little thing was the best baby! Never cried one time. Laid to down to sleep and never woke up until about 15 minutes before it was time to take her back to her mom.
I was almost sad, because I wanted to play with her more!
But Levi got the chance to play for a few minutes. When he saw her he started shouting “BABY! BABY!” He walked over and cupped his little hands together like he was holding a little baby bird and asked me… “Can I hold her?” 🙂
So the picture was our best attempt at Levi getting to hold the baby. 🙂
Seth also came running out of his room screaming… “Is this our new baby sister?” Can you tell he is excited about the adoption?
But he realized this sweet little one was from church, but he was happy to play with her for a few minutes as well.
