Day 3 of Thankfulness

I am thankful for the blessing of my firstborn son, Seth!
He was a surprise for us, as we found out we were expecting him a few months after just getting married.  He was such a wonderful surprise, and has been such a special gift to our family.
He was born my largest of the bunch weighing in at 9 lbs and 14 oz.  He was all wrinkly with tons of rolls, and I called him my chunky monkey, and my sweet angel.
I will never ever forget looking into his eyes the very first time we met in that hospital bed.  He was crying a little bit, and I whispered… “Hey Seth, this is Mommy”, and he stopped crying.

He was showing signs go being a typical first child, doing every thing early…sleeping through the night, crawling, eating, walking, and talking.  The boy was an excellent talker!  He was also, and still is an excellent sleeper!  He is also becoming a super-duper reader!
He is an awesome oldest brother, and is very attentive to his younger siblings.  His teachers and some adults at church tell me he shows a lot of compassion for others.  I am most proud of that!
He asks a lot of spiritual questions and expresses a desire to be baptized!  We are so proud of him!
He moves through life like an express train.  He is very active, and does everything as fast as he can.
My Seth-Man is such a precious person, and I am so very thankful for him!
