Day 4 of Thankfulness

I am so thankful for my second son, Levi.  We call him Leaky, a nick name from his first few days. It turned out to be “prophetic”, because his nose was always running, and his diapers always leaked.  ðŸ™‚ He was  an easy delivery, and born while there was snow on the ground.  He was 8 lbs 11oz, much smaller than we all thought he was going to be!  After Seth, the doctor anticipated an 11 lb baby.
I did not know what to think going from one child to two… but my heart just exploded and got larger for this little man.
He was such a sweet precious baby, but he did not like to sleep.  In fact, we hardly got him to sleep through the night until he was 2 1/2.  And sometimes, he will still come climb into our bed around 4am, but this Mom doesn’t mind special cuddle time with her boy!
Levi is similar to Seth in some ways, but he definitely has his own unique personality.  He is a little more independent, and he is more quiet.  But, he is also our family comedian.  He is really athletic, and seems to move a little slower pace in life than Seth.  He takes more in of the things going on around him.
He is very affectionate with his family, and is always very complimentary of his family.  He often tells me I look pretty or that he likes my dress.  So sweet!
I am so proud of Levi and the little man he is becoming.  He is doing great in school, and I have yet to hear any complaint about his behavior at church or school.
He brings me so much joy, and I am thankful I get to be this boy’s mother!
