Last Post from Colorado

Our last morning, Scott and I hiked Seven Falls, while the boys stayed with Aunt Patty and Uncle Mike.

Here we are in a cave about to take an elevator up the mountain. We thought that would help us get a jump start on the hike. Nope. It just takes you to a look out. We soon learned that we had to climb a ton of stairs to start our hike.

Now that’s a Stair Master!

If you look at the bottom of the picture you cans see the lookout that we rode the elevator to see. This picture was taken from the top of the stairs…it shows you how high we climbed the steps. Can you feel the burn in my quads?

The climb was worth all the beautiful sights!

Colorado Springs over my shoulder

Phew…we made it to the top. Old habits die hard. Check out that pageant stance! 🙂

It is called Seven Falls, because you see seven falls while you are hiking…how original. 🙂

Ending our hike and coming down the steps, we discovered there was a wedding taking place. Good thing it was ending, Scott and I would have had to crash it…we had a plane to catch.

Parkisons and McCorkles saying goodbye

We were worn out, but we had the best time! Thanks so much Aunt Patty and Uncle Mike for an incredible family vacation!!! We love you!
