Manchester Mondays: Cedar Rock Pumpkin Patch
Last weekend, our church hosted an event to reach and connect families within the church and we all headed out to a Pumpkin Patch in Shelbyville. It was tons of fun! There is never a shortage of things to do in and near Manchester!
They had a little Petting Zoo. The calf kept mooing at Levi and Levi did not like it. It made Levi jump every time he did it. After the third moo…Levi pointed his finger at the calf, and for lack of better words…. cursed him out in baby language. I don’t know what Levi was saying, but he was not happy with the little cow. Then he ran off to be comforted in Grammy’s arms. Oh, did I mention Grammy got to come with us! That was a huge deal… since she gave up Clemson Football to come! 🙂
The hay maze…
Seth and his buddy Trenton from church.
There was a little creek on the property and Scott was trying his best to teach Seth how to skip a rock across the water.
This very tall scarecrow was hilarious!
And Levi was fascinated with him!

Now for the hay ride
Corn maze…look at Seth run through it.

I was so proud of my big boy! This was zip line and I really did not think he would do it. But, he sure did and he rode it with a smile! It seems silly, but I actually teared up. He seemed so big doing this all by himself.
Carrying the zip line back…Levi thought he would help!
Levi with a sucker in his mouth!
After the pumpkin patch, we headed to our church’s picnic shelter for hot dogs and S’mores. Yummy!

I love our handy dandy picnic shelter at church!
