We just got to see her after she came out the procedure. She is currently in the PICU. She was crying when she saw me and she wants to be held. I could not pick her up, but I got to hold her hand and rub her head. She got calmer while I was there. Scott went in next, because we could only go in one at a time.
We also met with the doctor, and he said everything was very successful and there were no glitches with her procedure. He even showed us a video of her procedure.
We should have her back in our hospital room later this afternoon.
Thanks for all of the prayers!
So excited all went well! I am a night owl and am glad that there is a peach and quiet now so that I can pray for all of you. It has been a tough day for me and I thought of you all many times. I saw many children with that same look that Lyla had the first day you met her. However, the ones I saw were with their parents. I would have loved to take each one home with me! I am so happy for Lyla, one day she is going to read all of your posts and know just how blessed she is that God chose you all for her forever family! What am I talking about, I think she already knows that! Continually praying!
Yay!! God is so good! I have been waiting up to read this amazing update for your precious girl. Prayers for the rest of your trip to go smooth.
