From Daddy:
Let me tell you. This little girl is a Parkison! When we got her from the orphanage 5 days ago she would barely move or talk. Now…she is a chatter box! She loves to laugh and play and cause trouble! Right now she is running around the hospital room laughing as Mommy jumps out and scares her. The hospital staff thinks she is absolutely adorable. They are surprised at how friendly she is. When she does something she shouldn’t do and we say “no” she just laughs. We have gently popped her hand a few times…she says “ouch” and immediately laughs. She will fit right in with the rest of my children…and with her Daddy! May the mischief increase! hahahaha.
Seriously, there is no doubt this child will need to learn a new form of disciple. At the orphanage it is obvious they were strict and the kids obeyed out of fear. Since we don’t parent that way Lyla will need to learn how to handle her new freedom and also how to respect her new boundaries. I love her like I do the rest of my kids. Which means I will discipline her like i do the rest of my kids. But every child is different. Lord give Mommy and Daddy wisdom, because she is a pistol…Daddys little pistol! 🙂
