Spring Break Part 4

As a child growing up and going to Litchfield, SC for vacation…we often walked to the state park about a mile away and visited Atalaya. Atalaya is an old spanish style mansion that can be toured. The lady that lived in it was an artist and you can see most of her sculptures across the street at Brookgreen Gardens.
Now, as a child…I cared nothing about the history, the landscape , or the story…all I knew is it made the best place for my cousins and I to play Hide-n-Go-Seek. 🙂
I thought I would take the crew to see it too!

I think if I were a professional photographer I would really want to do photo shoots here. There are so many neat places within the mansion that have all of these neat textures and backgrounds. Maybe I can get better with this camera a do a photo shoot with family there in the future!

Here are the little kids sitting in one of the windows of Atalaya.
