Hello all! I certainly appreciate all of the emails and phone calls we have received inquiring about last weekend in North Carolina.
It was a fantastic weekend and I personally felt like Scott preached an awesome message. It was so much fun to meet our potential church family. I can tell the Parkisons will fit right in!
The church officially votes on Scott next Sunday, so we won’t know for sure if he has the offer until then, but it just feels like God is all over this situation and I feel confident we will be moving there by July.
At least I hope they will vote him in…because we have already sold our house here in SC! We house hunted a lot last weekend and found a house we really love. Hopefully it will work out for us to move in; if not, I know the Lord will provide…He has this whole time while we have been talking with Wakefield Baptist.
I will keep you posted.
On another note, I am super excited about moving but will really miss my family and friends here in Greenville. Please pray for me as I make that adjustment.
